To continue sizing work even when a motor is stopped by fitting a manual handle attachably/detachably to the end part of a sizing roll in an apparatus for applying glue on the back of a sheet-shaped wall finishing material by the sizing roll while the material is fed by a roll.
A sizing machine body 1 has an upper pinch roll 10, a driving roll 12, and a press roll in its upper part structure and a lower pinch roll 13, a sizing roll 15, a doctor roll 14, and a leveling roll 16 in its lower part structure and conveys a cloth. A handle 3 and a counter 5 are fitted to the same attachment 2. When power supply is unstable and a motor is stopped, the attachment 2 is fitted to the body 1, the handle 3 is connected to the rotary shaft end of the sizing roll 15, and the input shaft 4 of the counter 5 is connected to the rotary shaft end of the upper pinch roll 10. In this way, sizing work is continued by operating the handle 3 manually.
