Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic water tap unit which is mounted on an existing faucet of manual operation and allows a user to handle easily.
SOLUTION: A handle mechanism mounted on an existing faucet of manual operation to make flow adjustment and water stop operation is removed, and this automatic unit is as a substitute installed on the body 10 of faucet, which can thus serve as an automatic water tap. The body 10 is equipped with water passages 22, 30, 41 which shut off water to the existing discharge port 12 and generate communication to an inflow pipe 24, a discharge part which is provided separately from the discharge port 12 for discharge of the water having passed the water passages, and a solenoid valve unit 49 which is controlled by a control part including a sensor part 70 to sense existence of any user of water tap and which controls the stream of the water fed from the inflow pipe 24, flowing through the water passages, and discharged from the discharge part.
