Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of thread disposed of, without decreasing package production efficiency.SOLUTION: An automatic winder 1 comprises, as a winding device for forming a package by winding up thread unreeled from a thread feed bobbin: a plurality of tray type winding devices 3 arranged leftward and rightward directions; and two magazine type winding devices 4 arranged in the leftward and rightward directions together with the plurality of tray type winding devices 3. For example, the thread feed bobbin from which thread could not be unreeled normally in the tray type winding devices 3 is set in the magazine devices of the magazine type winding devices 4, and the thread is unreeled from the thread feed bobbin by the magazine type winding devices 4, thereby forming the package.
