To simplify the structure, to dispense with the maintenance, to increase the reliability, to dispense with a drive source, and to reduce the cost by guiding a printing paper sheet from a take-in hole opposite to a printer discharge port to the winding side, and storing the paper sheet in a storage part capable of releasing the cylindrical winding side.
A take-in hole 12 of an automatic winding device 11 which is split into two parts of an upper wall 8 and a lower wall 10 and integrated with each other, is connected to a printer discharge port 7. In the automatic winding device 11, a cylindrical winding-in storage part 15 is formed on a lower part. A winding guide part 16 to guide a curly roll paper 3 taken in from the take-in hole 12 in the winding-in direction at the winding storage part 15 is provided between the take-in hole 12 and the winding-in storage part 15. The roll paper 3 to be discharged from the printer discharge port 7 enters the winding-in guide part 16 from the take-in hole 12 of the automatic winding device 11, and is successively wound in and stored in a curly condition into the winding-in storage part 15. The printing paper sheet can surely and automatically be wound by a device of extremely simple structure.
