To automatically perform operation from fixing of a cylindrical body to stock after cutting, to achieve manpower saving by automation, and to improve productive capacity by eliminating degradation of the production capacity due to an operator.
A supply mechanism 11 supplies a stocked cylindrical body 100. The cylindrical body 100 rolls over a guide face 13a for supply to be guided to a cutting part 12. A positioning mechanism 14 positions the cylindrical body 100. A holding mechanism 15 fixes the cylindrical body 100 by holding the outer circumference of the cylindrical body 100 from both sides with a pair of holding parts (31 and 32). A length measurement mechanism 16 measures a length dimension of the cylindrical body 100. A cylindrical body pass determination part 51 determines if it is a pass product, a product to be cut, or a reject product on the basis of the length dimension of the cylindrical body 100. The product to be cut is cut by a cylindrical body cutting mechanism 17, the pass product is stocked in a pass product stock part 18, and the reject product is stocked in a reject product stock part 19.
