Abstract:

To ensure that all the wheels of an automatically guided vehicle fitted with a robot arm or the like are grounded and allow the vehicle to stably support biased load that may be imposed thereon during operations.

Four wheels 26 are provided to be located at four corners on the bottom of the body frame 15 of the automatically guided vehicle 12, with one of the wheels mounted to the bottom of the body frame 15 and the other wheels mounted to an oscillating frame 44 provided at the underside of the body frame 15 in such a manner as to be vertically oscillatable about a shaft 47. Therefore, the automatically guided vehicle 12 can be operated with the four wheels grounded at all times. The cylinder tube 54 of a cylinder device 51 is fixed to the oscillating frame 44 and a rod 56 is connected to the body frame 15 via a universal flexible shaft 59. A selector valve is connected to the entrance of the cylinder tube 54, and the body frame 15 and the oscillating frame 44 are integrated together in such a way that during the operation of the robot arm, the selector valve is closed to prevent oil from entering and exiting the cylinder tube 54.
