Abstract:
To provide an automobile bumper device capable of suppressing a phenomenon in which an automobile dives under or runs on a barrier in a minute lap barrier test even when a recessed part is formed on an outer edge part of a bumper beam due to design limitation.
The recessed part 34 is formed along the vehicle width direction in the edge part in the vehicle outer side of the bumper beam 12 arranged along the vehicle width direction. A covering part 36 for covering the recessed part 34 is provided in a central part in the vehicle width direction of the bumper beam 12 between the bumper beam 12 and a bumper face 13.
