To stabilize a vehicle's behavior just after release of a vehicle stop holding control.
When an accelerator operation is performed by a driver when the vehicle stop holding control is not executed, a requested driving force Td* is set by use of a general driving force map. When an accelerator operation is performed by the driver during execution of the vehicle stop holding control, the requested driving force Td* is set by use of a stopping retention control driving force map. In the vehicle stop holding control driving force map, the driving force to accelerator opening Acc is set to be smaller on the low-accelerator opening side than in the general driving force map, and to gradually get close to that in the general driving force map on the high-accelerator opening side. Therefore, since a large driving force is never given to the vehicle just after releasing the vehicle stop holding control, the vehicle's behavior just after release of the vehicle stop holding control can be stabilized, and the vehicle can be thus smoothly started.
