PURPOSE: To reduce discomfortable noise due to the metal-to-metal contact by forming a covering made of rubber or plastic in the peripheries of a rotary latch operated by a closed wedge and a support pin inserted in a support forming part therefor with rubber or plastic.

CONSTITUTION: A piece of covering 7 made of rubber or plastic 1 to several mm thick, including a support forming part, is formed on a rotary latch 4 which has a support forming part 5 and is oscillated round a support pin 6 by the operation of the closed wedge. A solid lubricant is buried in the covering 7 within the range of the forming part 5, or a self-lubricating material may be selected and used. Further, a covering made of rubber or plastic is formed also on a support pin 6 inserted in a stored part of the support forming part. Thus, discomfortable noise generated by metal-to-metal contact in closing an automobile door or during running can be restrained.
