Abstract:
To enable a position of an automobile door armrest to be adjusted in compliance with a physical body of a riding passenger.
A supporting part 20 is arranged to protrude inside a door body. An armrest 30 is supported at the supporting part 20 in such a way that a height of the armrest 30 can be adjusted by a height adjusting mechanism 40. The height adjusting mechanism 40 has stays 41, 42 connected to the armrest 30, extending downward in perpendicular to the armrest 30; guides 43, 44 arranged in the supporting part 20 so as to guide the stays 41, 42 in an upward or downward direction; and a lock mechanism 47 arranged in the supporting part 20 and locking the stays 41, 42 at their selected height.
