Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability and matching at polymerization in the spot joining of a flange on the upper edge of a dash lower panel to a dash upper panel and a cowl top panel.
SOLUTION: A flange 2 on the upper edge of a dash lower panel 1 is formed so as to be inclined upward within a surface F of substantially the same inclination, in the direction of the body width. As a result, there is good matching between this flange 2 and a dash upper panel 7 and a cowl top panel 8. Further, it is possible to spot weld while moving in the direction of the body width without changing the inclination of a spot welding gun, so that the workability in spot welding is increased.
