In a skin material layer 2 composed of pile yarn and base cloth for constituting the automobile mat 1, core sheath type composite long fiber including plant-originated polyethylene is used as the pile yarn, and the plant-originated polyethylene is also used for a backing material layer 3 for keeping a shape, and nonwoven fabric constituted of core sheath type composite short fiber including the plant-originated polyethylene is also used for a slip preventive layer 4 having the antislipping function arranged in the lowest layer, so that the automobile mat including the plant-originated component by 40 wt.% or more to the whole weight and suitably usable for use of an automobile interior trim material of requiring abrasion resistance, can be provided.
