A host computer constituting a Web site for sound simulation is connected to a sound database. Sound data recording and digitizing sound generated when an automobile travels loaded with parts such as a muffler and a klaxon, is stored in the sound database for each prescribed number of revolutions interval of an engine for each car type and part. Sound data recording and digitizing echo sound generated by a building and a road surface when the automobile travels in a city zone, a highway, or surrounding environment such as the suburbs is also stored in the sound data base. Furthermore, the host computer is connected with terminal units such as personal computers of a plurality of users, a computer at a sales store, and a portable information terminal unit through a network such as the Internet.
