Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flush valve used in a toilet, a stool or a sprinkler system and capable of operating securely.
SOLUTION: This flush valve has a valve body 1 in which an inlet pipe 11 supplying water and an outlet pipe 12 connected with a stool are communicated, a limit valve 4 provided for a diaphragm valve to automatically close a passage between the diaphragm valve 2 and the outlet pipe 12 and a relief passage when a manually operated relief valve 5 or an electric relief valve 6 is not operated normally, and a self-control valve 8 provided in the outlet pipe 12 to maintain a fixed condition of water flow automatically when the inside of a piping system receives fluctuating water pressure. The electric relief valve 6 opens, closes, and controls the diaphragm valve 2 timely only for a preset time when the manually operated relief valve 5 opens relief passages 152, 153 on a downstream side of the diaphragm valve 2 effectively.
