Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a steering handle shaft by slight manufacturing cost so as to perform relative axial movement of the shaft and a storage pipe in very slight torsion play.
CONSTITUTION: Keys 2, 2' which are parts on one side of an insertion connection part formed in the axial direction without interruption in a scope of a storage pipe 1 have excessively small dimension 4 in the curcumferential direction for grooves 3, 3' of parts on the other side, the keys 2, 2' which are parts on one side are provided with a synthetic resin layer 5 made of rubber elastic synthetic resin bridging the excessively small dimension 4, and the synthetic resin layer 5 has larger extension length in the axial direction than a value of the maximum relative movement of a shaft and the storage pipe 1.
