Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce gear noise from speed reduction gear for reducing and transmitting the speed of rotation of an output shaft of a transmission contained in a casing comprising a speed reduction gear housing and a joint housing connected oppositely to each other.
CONSTITUTION: A bearing cover 50 for supporting one end of a speed reduction gear shaft is provided separately from a speed change mechanism housing, and a projected edge 53 of the bearing cover 50 is positioned and installed by close faucet fitting to an annular recess 55 of a joint housing 47 for supporting the other end of the speed reduction gear shaft. Also an outer periphery 53a of the projected edge 53 of the bearing cover 50, an inner surface 55a of the annular recess 55 of the joint housing 47 to which the projected edge 53 is faucet-fitted closely, an inner surface 51a of a bearing support 51 of the bearing cover 50, and an internal surface 54a of a bearing support 54 of the joint housing 47 are formed by simultaneous working.
