PURPOSE: To improve accuracy of measurement of a sensor in measuring the acceleration or the deceleration of a vehicle, and to make the sensor smaller and lighter with simple constitution.

CONSTITUTION: Non-ferrous members 47 are arranged with regular intervals on the outer surface 30 of a ferrous hub 12 near the inner end 34 of it. The outer surface 30 of the hub and the outer surface of the members 47 are coincidental with each other, forming an even cylindrical surface. The wheel hub assembly 10 with such constitution can be manufactured by arranging a ring or band including the members 47 as protrusions in a mold, burying/fixing the ring integrally with the hub with injected/caked iron material for the hub 12, then cutting the outer surface.
