PURPOSE: To improve a degree of impact resistance, by contriving a forming position of a rib and its form in some way, in case of an automobile wheel consisting of a short fiber reinforced thermoplastic cmposition and installing plural slender ribs radially along an outer circumference of the front.
CONSTITUTION: An automobile wheel possesses a short-tubular rim part A in thickness T and an annular disc part 13 being projected outward in an almost right angle to the inside of this rim part A, opening up plural pieces of slender ribs R in a radial form at an interval Y along an outer circumference of a front X, and made up of a short fiber reinforced thermoplastic composition. In this case, as for the rib R, its upper end part R' is situated in the front X side between parallel lines E and F passing through a rim flange end part C and a rim flange inner surface D. In addition, a web surface Z of the rib R is made up so as to pass through an intersection point K between parallel lines drawn from a sheet surface G apart from 2T and parallel lines J drawn from a rim well outer wall surface I apart from less than T as well as another intersection point O between the parallel lines J and an extension line N of a rim well lower surface M.
