Title:
AUTOMOBILE'S AIR CONDITIONING STINK REMOVING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5836719
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To surely and successfully remove stink without applying any load to the capacity of an air conditioner by communicating a small casing wherein a volatile deodorizing aromatic chemical is contained with a duct line of an air conditioner by means of two connection passages and mounting dampers thereto whose opening can be adjusted.

CONSTITUTION: When a fan 2 is inoperative, an oder removing aromatic chemical 11 is volatilized and fragrance is dispersed from a release opening 22 to fill a small casing 12 therewith. When an air conditioner is actuated to drive the fan 2, dampers 15 and 16 are interlocked and opened so that a part of the air flow comes from a branch pipe 13 into the small chamber 12 to force the vapor of the deodorizer from a branch pipe 14 into a duct line, thereby removing the odor. At this time, a damper 18 of a supply port 17 which opens into a car room is turned to be closed. The proportion of the deodorizer to be mixed may be adjusted by the openings of the dampers 15 and 16 and when they are closed, the deodorizing effect is shut off. Therefore, when the air conditioner is started, the volatilized deodorizer filled therein is amply blasted to remove the initial stink of the problem and thereafter, a fixed amount of deodorizer may be vaporized.
