Abstract:
The braking system has a pneumatic power assisted servomotor (12) with a housing (14) containing a vacuum chamber (16) and a vacuum pump (36) fixed to the interior of the housing inside the vacuum chamber. The pump is annular in shape, positioned coaxially with the servomotor and contains reciprocating suction and pressure components operated by an electromagnet with an annular armature containing a coil and an axial tubular core.
