Abstract:
To add functions to the rearward extension of an outer lens in an automotive headlamp with an outer lens having the same planar shape as a hood.
An outer lens extension 3a which is extended rearwardly from a lens opening 8c in a lamp housing 8 into the same planar shape as a hood is formed with an exhalation port 10 which exhausts air taken in from an intake port 8a, so that the outer lens extension 3a has respiratory functions. An air duct 11 is formed between the exhalation port and an exhalation opening 8b formed in the lamp housing 8.
