To provide a sound insulation panel for an automobile, that is suitable for reducing the weight of the sound insulation panel, expanding the frequency band which can insulate sound, and improving the sound insulation performance, as well as, that is suitable for performing the design so as to set in accordance with the design value, the frequency band that can insulate sounds.SOLUTION: A sound insulation panel S1 for an automobile comprises: a sound absorbing panel material P1 forming a sound absorbing layer 1; a surface panel material P2 forming a surface layer 2 on the sound absorbing layer; and a plurality of elastic bodies E forming an elastic layer 3 between the sound absorbing layer and the surface layer. The sound absorbing panel material comprises: accommodating space portions 4 opened toward the surface panel material. A portion in a range facing an opening of the accommodating space in the surface panel material functions as a first vibrating film 5. Each elastic body E has a recess 6 arranged in the accommodating space, and a bottom of the recess functions as a second vibrating film 7. A part of or the whole of a side wall of the recess is configured to be provided with a reinforcing part RF so as to have higher rigidity compared to the bottom of the recess.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
