Abstract:

To provide an autonomous dispersive individual authenticating system capable of making a safe and highly accurate authenticating determination by checking up authenticating information offered from a user with respective authenticating databases individually possessed by a plurality of authenticating interfaces.

This authenticating system connects a plurality of user terminals requiring the authenticating determination, one agent server, and the plurality of authenticating interfaces by a network, and is characterized in that a proper authenticating database is possessed in the respective authenticating interfaces, and when transmitting authenticating information requiring the authenticating determination to the agent server from the user terminals, the agent server enciphers the received authenticating information, and transmits the information to the respective authenticating interfaces, the respective authenticating interfaces make the authenticating determination by checking up the authenticating information on the basis of the authenticating databases possessed by themselves, and a result of the authenticating determination is sent back to the user terminal via the agent server.
