In a system which constructs a n-fold system with a control substrate 1-1 and an inverter INV equipped with a micro processor, a pump P, and a motor IM, and which is constructed with a microprocessor equipped interface substrate I/O, microprocessors are connected with a communication signal line S9, parameters are stored in the substrate I/O, detection signal of a pressure sensor 16 and the parameters are compared, start and stop command signal, and signal for determining speed change operation and constant speed operation are issued to the control substrate 1. The control substrate 1 stores IDNO. and parameters for pressure control, issues operation command to an inverter INV according to start signal from the substrate I/O, and executes pressure control based on detection signal of the pressure sensor 16 to send signal to the inverter INV. Answer back signal is returned to the substrate I/O from the control substrate 1, the substrate I/O executes start stop of the control substrate 1 and the control substrate 1 makes pressure control.
