Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous travel robot that can safely travels in projection topography and cave-in topography and prevent falling in the case of traveling on an inclined plane.SOLUTION: An autonomous travel robot (1A) includes: a frame (10); a drive wheel (11); and a front follower wheel (12) and a back follower wheel (13) provided before or after the drive wheel (11). There are provided a suspension mechanism (20) that is supported by the frame (10) and pivotably supports the drive wheel (11), a gyro sensor (15) that detects inclination of the frame (10), and an electromagnetic brake (26) that restricts the movable area of the suspension mechanism (20).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
