This autonomous traveling device C1 recognizes a field of vision of its master B1 comprehensively and obtains visual information by a camera 10 and a communication machine 12 while traveling autonomously by keeping close to the master B1. A blind spot region VF1 is detected by a blind spot region detection part 22 based on the visual information. The information about the blind spot related to the detected blind spot region VF1 is projected on the ground surface on a sidewalk SW1 by a projector 42 to inform the master B1. As a result, it is possible to inform the master B1 of the information related to the region VF1 being the blind spot when viewed from the master B1.
