Abstract:
To perform a smooth fitting-in operation without applying excessive load on an auxiliary air chamber member.SOLUTION: An auxiliary air chamber member fitting device 1 for fitting an auxiliary air chamber member 2 in a pair of vertical wall parts formed along a circumferential direction of a vehicle wheel 100, thereby fitting this member to the vertical wall parts, comprises a pusher 5 by which, while one edge part 25 of the auxiliary air chamber member 2 is kept fitted in the one vertical wall part, the auxiliary air chamber member 2 is pressed and the other edge part is fitted in the other vertical wall part. The pusher 5 comprises: a pressing part 52 that moves the auxiliary air chamber member 2 in a pressing direction; and a drive inclination part 52a formed on the pressing part 52 and inclining in a direction intersecting the pressing direction of the pusher 5. The auxiliary air chamber member 2 comprises a following inclination part 24a, inclining in a direction intersecting the pressing direction of the pusher 5. The drive inclination part 52a and the following inclination part 24a incline away from the one edge part 25 as they respectively move in a direction in which the pressing part 52 advances.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
