PURPOSE: To prevent oil and carbon or the like from sticking to the guide way of a heat sensitive actuator and an output rod by constituting these elements, in a controller for opening or closing a bypass passage bypassing a throttle valve, so as to be covered with a sleeve in a moving part.
CONSTITUTION: A block part 113 formed with an inlet 114 and an outlet 115 of a bypass passage is formed in a part of the outer wall of a throttle body 11 provided with a throttle valve 112 in a main intake passage 111 for supplying main air to an engine. An auxiliary air controller 20 with a heat sensitive actuator 30 is installed in this block part 113. The actuator 30 is made up of installing a moving part 400 in an output rod 32 displaceable in the longitudinal direction according to the detected cooling water temperature. In addition, this moving part 400 is provided with a sleeve 41 supporting a tip of the output rod 32, a nearly conical valve body 40 engaged with this sleeve via a plate 43, and a spring 42 energizing this valve body 40 and so on, through which it is constituted so as to open or close a valve hole 441 of a valve seat 44 by the valve body 40.
