To clean an area having a complex shape easily and moreover efficiently by a method, wherein an auxiliary cleaning tool is attached to the suction pipe of a cleaner to concurrently cause an action to tap the dust out of the area and an action to draw and collect the dust which is tapped out.
A support cylinder 40 is mounted at the end of a suction pipe P of a cleaner via a drive housing 1 to form an air passage connectable to the pipe P. A base part 41 is provided at the forward end of the cylinder 40 to oscillate in the axes cross section thereof and a plurality of hollow flexible taping tubes 42 in the form of a bundle, are planted on the base part 41 to form a tapping part 4. An area to be cleaned is tapped by the tapping tubes 42 which oscillate with the base part 41, and the dust tapped out is drawn into the cylinder 40 through the tubes 42 to send it into the pipe P.
