PURPOSE: To prevent the slip of a vehicle in a pollution-free manner without an environmental pollution such as dust pollution by spraying ice particles, a mixture of ice particles and water, or water to generate ice particles between the tires and the road surface.
CONSTITUTION: Water 42 is sprayed in an atomized manner forward of tires 2 close to tire houses 9 from a nozzle 44 in a container 41 to store the water 42 provided with a freezing preventing device 46 through a switching valve 43 to be opened by the spray starting signal of a slip detecting device 5. The water 42 discharged from the nozzle 44 is sprayed on a contact part 10 of the tires 2 with thc road surface 7 as ice particles or the mixture 6 of the water 42 and ice particles which are solidified through the temperature drop due to the atmospheric air or due to the rapid expansion. The sprayed ice particles or the mixture of water and the ice particles are cooled on the road surface 7 to fieeze the water, or the ice particles are melted to generate the surface roughness on the road surface 7. This surface roughness increases the friction force on the contact surface of the tires. Thus, the slip can be prevented in a pollution-free manner without the dust pollution and the environmental pollution.
