Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable start up of a motor normally by generating a drive signal, regardless of the detection of position of a rotor when the rotor is not rotated in an initial stage of start-up.
CONSTITUTION: In the case that a rotor stops at a specified position and a motor does not started up and phase drive signals 1A, 2A, 3A are not generated from a position detecting section 10, control signals are output from a stoppage judging section 20 for judging the stoppage of a motor. Owing to the control signals, start drive signals 1B, 2B, 3B generated by a clock signal are selected in a drive signal selecting section 40 and are output as gate drive signals g1, g2, g3 of respective phases. After that, when the phase drive signals 1A, 2A, 3A are generated by the position detecting section 10 after the detection of position of the rotor, the control signals from the stoppage judging section 20 change and the phase drive signals 1A, 2A, 3A output from the position detecting section 10 are selected in the drive signal selecting section 40 and are output as gate drive signals g1, g2, g3 of the respective phases. By this method, the motor can be driven normally.
