Abstract:
To provide a coupling assist device for a derricking body capable of performing assembly work of the derricking body by easily coupling a plurality of component members included in the derricking body.SOLUTION: A coupling assist device 40 assists the coupling of a first upper connector 16A of a first intermediate boom 16 and a second upper connector 18A of a second intermediate boom 18 that are included in a boom 12. The coupling assist device 40 includes a boom mounting part 46 mounted on a first upper main frame 161 of the first intermediate boom 16 and a connector guide 47. The connector guide 47 is abutted on a second plate-like part 18P of the second upper connector 18A to guide the second plate-like part 18P to a coupling preparation position in association with the descending of the second intermediate boom 18. Thereafter, hole parts of the first upper connector 16A and a first lower connector 16B are made to match each other in association with the descending of the second plate-like part 18P.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
