The auxiliary handrail for the Western-style toilet comprises a support fixed inside the Western-style toilet room, a beam held with the support, a moving rack to move along the beam, a rotary rack rotatably disposed on the moving rack, a telescopic member attached rotatably to the rotary rack at one end and attached rotatably to the beam or the support at the other end to extend/contract according to the rotation of the rotary rack, a rack fixing member for fixing the rotary rack to the moving rack with a prescribed angle to the beam, a fixture releasing member for making the rotary rack fixed by the rack fixing member rotatable, and a grip member disposed on the rotary rack.
