Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary image display device of blind area which can display an image of a blind area continuously to an image that can be directly viewed by a viewer more easily, and which is improved in visibility.SOLUTION: An auxiliary image display device of blind area 100 which displays an image of a blind area interrupted by an obstacle within a vehicle, includes a pair 110 disposed on the viewer side, of: a semi-transmissive plane mirror 111 to which light L representing the image is made incident, reflecting a part of the light L and transmitting a part of the light L; and a plane mirror 112 facing the semi-transmissive plane mirror 111, reflecting the light L reflected by the semi-transmissive plane mirror 111 to the semi-transmissive plane mirror 111 again. The device 100 further includes a light shielding part 140 which is disposed on the viewer side, and shields light SL made incident at a prescribed angle from the viewer side.
