To provide an auxiliary implement for picking up a dish which allows a user to easily pickup the dish in a simple manner to take a meal without imposing many loads on a wrist even when the user has impaired or weak hands to hold the dish or cannot easily grip and pick up the dish by hand when the dish itself is hot.

The auxiliary implement for picking up the dish includes: a ring shape support frame 2 having a dish placement hole 21 at the center, the hole supporting the outer peripheral side surface of the dish (a) by the inner peripheral edge 21a; a bending handle body 3 for picking up which is arranged by upward bending from a part of the outer edge of the ring shape support frame 2; and an arcuate upper hand engagement part 31 arranged at the upper end of the bending handle body 3. The handle body part 32 of the bending handle body 3 is formed to have proper width and thickness to be easily gripped by hand, and legs 4 are attached onto the lower surfaces of the ring shape support frame 2 and the bending handle body 3.
