To provide an extremely convenient new auxiliary lever for a door knob properly installed and used to the door knob, which may be utilized by a child, an aged person, a handicapped person or the like having weak grasping power.

The auxiliary lever has a ring-shaped section, in which an intermediate section is detached and detached sections can be expanded and narrowed and an inside diameter is approximately the same as the outside diameter of the door knob, a pair of half sections formed in constitution, in which the half sections are projected under the state, in which the half sections are directed in the discharging direction from the center of the ring-shaped section, at each detached end of the ring-shaped section, are unified when the ring-shaped body is brought to a narrowed state and form a lever section, and a holding section maintaining both half sections under a unified state.
