Title:
AUXILIARY MACHINE DRIVE DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002309961
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an auxiliary machine drive device for an internal combustion engine that can reduce the number of driving component parts below a conventional level and can increase the degree of freedom in layout.

The auxiliary machine drive device for an internal combustion engine forms auxiliary machine direct-driving parts 2 and 3 at a front and a rear ends of a camshaft 1, arranges auxiliary machines 4 and 5 at the front and rear camshaft ends in series with the camshaft 1, and couples the camshaft 1 direct to the auxiliary machines 4 and 5 via the auxiliary machine direct- driving parts 2 and 3 of the camshaft to thus drive the auxiliary machines 4 and 5 at the front and rear camshaft ends simultaneously from the camshaft 1. The camshaft 1 is chain-driven by a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine. Torque fluctuation in the auxiliary machines 4 and 5 at the front and rear camshaft ends is phased so as to be canceled by torque fluctuation in the camshaft 1.
