To provide an auxiliary machinery driving device for an automobile having excellent vehicle mounting property and economical property and capable of simplifying a device configuration.
This auxiliary machinery driving device is provided with a planetary gear mechanism 420 having an engine connection shaft 421 connected with an engine 1, a power generation electric motor connection shaft 422 connected with a power generation electric motor 440 and a compressor 450 for an air conditioner, and a restraint shaft 423 connected with a lock mechanism 460. A clutch 430 is provided between the engine connection shaft 421 and the restraint shaft 423. Consequently, the lock mechanism 460 is restrained and the clutch 430 is released to start the engine 1 by the power generation electric motor 440. The lock mechanism 460 and the clutch 430 are released to drive the electric air conditioner 450 by the power generation electric motor 440. The lock mechanism 460 is released and the clutch 430 is connected to drive the power generation electric motor 440 and the compressor 450 for the air conditioner by the engine 1.
