Title:
AUXILIARY PACKAGE MOUNTING INK FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02204074
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obviate the use of an expensive disposal cartridge by packaging an ink film and a roll shaft through a supporting body for containing/holding them in the same form as that when they are mounted.

CONSTITUTION: In an auxiliary package for mounting an ink film, an ink film 3 is wound around a first roll shaft 1 with one end thereof being fixed to a second roll shaft 2. Upon mount of the roll shafts 1, 2 on a printer, a supporting body 4 is deformed and removed with the roll shafts 1, 2 and the ink film 3 being left as it is. A grooved recess 4b and a finger engaging section 4c are formed on the supporting body 4 in order to facilitate deformation of the supporting body 4. The supporting body 4 is made of hard vinyl chloride, and since the supporting body 4 is removed through temporal deformation without accompanying breakdown it can be mounted again and can be removed when it is required to remove the mounted roll shafts 1, 2 and the ink film 3 temporarily.
