To simply turn up the page of newspaper even in a narrow space and to eliminate the slip down of the newspaper merely by lightly carrying it by one hand by connecting four transparent plastic plates by a transparent vinyl tape, mounting a wire at the central part and providing a hook protrusion at the end of the wire and a hook recess at the lower central part.

Four transparent plastic plates 1 are connected by a transparent vinyl tape 2. A wire 4 is mounted at the upper central part 3. A hook protrusion 5 is provided at the end of the wire 4. Further, a hook recess 6 is provided so that the protrusion 5 of the end of the wire 4 can be engaged with or disengaged from the lower central part. The wire 4 is passed through the center 7 of newspaper, and the protrusion 5 is engaged with the recess 6. The left half of the newspaper is folded to the rear side, and the lower half is folded to the rear side. Thus, the newspaper can be read while carrying it by one hand.
