Abstract:
PURPOSE:To eliminate an unnecessary execution time by discriminating automatically whether an auxiliary processor is connected or not and executing directly processing instruction in a processing program if the auxiliary processor is connected and making it unnecessary that a control program intervenes always for the processing execution of the auxiliary processor. CONSTITUTION:A control program 11 detects whether an auxiliary processor 2 is connected or not in accordance with a signal (a) and sends a connection result signal b2 from an identification reporting part 111 to an initializing part 121 in response to an inquiry signal b1 from a processing program 12. If the auxiliary processor 2 is not connected, a pseudo processing part 12 performs the pseudo execution of the processing of the processor in accordance with a pseudo processing request signal e1 from the processing program 12 and sends a pseudo processing result signal e2 to a main processing part 122. Meanwhile, the processing program 12 receives the signal b2 and responds to a processing execution signal d1 to execute directly processing instructions in accordance with a connection result report signal (c) outputted from the initializing part 121 and outputs a processing result report signal d2.
