Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the attachment and detachment lock mechanism for a detachable auxiliary storage device which enables only the owner to attach and detach it.
SOLUTION: A knob consists of an indication part 92 which slides on guide rails 74 and 75 formed on a vessel 7b to indicate a password code and a plate 95 which has a lock projection 93 and a guide projection. The guide projection 94 is inserted into guide grooves 76 and 77 formed in the top surface of a bracket 7a, and fixed and guided. A latch on a system main body side which engages the guide projection to lock attachment and detachment consists of a lock piece having an unlocking groove as the path of the lock projection 93 of the knob and an elastic hook which is formed on the top surface of the lock piece and engages the fixed groove of the system main body. A password code similar to the parts of the guide rails 74 and 75 of the vessel 7b is provided nearby the fixed groove and when the arranged password codes of the knob and latch match each other, the lock projection 93 meets the unlocking groove to allow passage.
