PURPOSE: To effectively use idle terminals by providing a signal input switching means which can switch the input state of a signal input terminal of a charged program to plural audio/video signal inputs.

CONSTITUTION: A display device 8 is connected to changeover switches 81 to 84 through an audio/video signal processing circuit 7, and control signals (A) to (D) from a controller 9 are fetched into changeover switches S1 to S4, A changeover switch Sa and changeover switches S11 to S41 as function switches are connected to the controller 9. The changeover switch Sa is operated at the time of switching the signal input of an input terminal 5; and for example, the input terminal 5 is used for the input of CATV&BS when the changeover switch Sa is turned off, and this terminal is used for input of a video signal (V2) when the changeover switch Sa is turned on. Thus, an input terminal exclusive for descrambling device or the like whose frequency in use may be low is used as another audio/video signal input to effectively use idle terminals.
