Abstract:
The overshooting of a controller beyond the desired value to be observed is avoided by initially assigning the controller an auxiliary desired value to be approached which is at a distance from the main desired value to be observed which corresponds to the maximum overshoot amplitude, in which case after the auxiliary desired value is reached the main desired value is approached in accordance with a timing function which is selected in such a way that when the main desired value is reached the controller is in the steady state.
