Abstract:
To provide an awning fulfilling multi-media objects.
An awning comprises: a base part (1) which can be attached to a part of building; an awning fabric shaft (8) rotatably mounted thereon; an awning fabric (7) which can be retracted and extended and can be wound onto and unwound from the awning fabric shaft (8); and a sound production system (9) which includes a driver controller (10), and at least one sound actuator (11, 12) controlled by the driver controller (10) and coupled to an awning component (6), and in which the at least one sound actuator (11, 12) makes the awning component (6) carry out defined oscillations to generate a sound signal, in particular a music and/or speech signal.
