Abstract:
To provide an awning for automatically winding a canvas when receiving a strong wind.SOLUTION: An awning 1 according to the present invention is a device in which a sheet-like canvas 30 is spread to perform a shading/rain protection action, comprising a front frame 20 to which a tip 30a of a canvas 30 is detachably locked, a winding roller 34 to which the rear end of the canvas 30 is connected, a locking device 40 to lock the canvas 30 to the front frame 20, and a rear frame 14 to which the winding roller 34 is fixed. The winding roller 34 has an energizing member that constantly energizes in the winding direction of the canvas 30, and the locking device 40 has a hook 50 fastened to one of the canvas 30 and the front frame 20 and a hook receiver 60 fastened to the other to release the hook 50, and the locking of the hook 50 in the hook receiver 60 is released when the canvas 30 is pulled with a predetermined force in the take-up direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
