Abstract:
To suppress the occurrence of the higher mode resonance of the rotor blades of an axial compressor having thin-walled blades.
This axial compressor comprises stator blades and rotor blades forming a multi-stage cascade disposed along a rotatably supported rotor. The leading edges 14a of the rotor blades 14 are curved in the same arched shapes as those of the trailing edges of the stator blades 12, or the trailing edges of the stator blades 12 are formed in radially extending linear shapes in the same shapes as those of the leading edges of the rotor blades 14.
