PURPOSE: To prevent axial deformation by filling an incompressive fluid in a cavity forming a plurality of rolling passages, causing an elastically deformable member from an axial urging action from one end of a shaft to the other end thereof and acting a resultant force received by the member.
CONSTITUTION: This transmission joint is provided with a transmission joint body 12 separating the cavity for receiving a tripod member 16 to the inside, and the body 12 is provided with a flange 17 for a first shaft connecting a transmission to a second shaft 18 having an end portion 20 with a spline. An incompressive fluid such as lubricant is filled in the cavity 14. When one of two shafts is urged to the other, an elastically deformable member 30 is constituted so as to be resistant to a resultant force of an urging force received by the other shaft. When the shaft is urged to a compression direction, the end 20 is urged toward an inner end 44 of the cavity 14 and cannot be moved by an increase of pressure in the cavity 14. When the shaft 18 received a tensile action, atmosphere pressure is applied to an outer surface of the member 30. Since the member 30 cannot be axially moved, a displacement of the shaft is inhibited.
