Title:
AXIAL FLOW FAN MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3817857
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the water-resistance performance of an axial-flow fan by forming a housing central part where a stator part is retained and covered in a closed-end shape and providing cut-outs or holes at least at one portion of the spoke part of an outer-periphery wall in closed-end shape.
SOLUTION: The central part of a housing 1 where a stator part 8 is retained and covered is in closed-end shape, and cut-outs or holes 10 are provided, at least, at one portion of the part between the spokes of an outer-periphery wall in closed end shape to drain water, allowing waterdrops being adhered to the reverse side of the center part of the housing 1 with the closed-end shape that opposes a circuit part 2 to escape rapidly from cutouts or holes 10, at least, at one part being provided for draining water and preventing waterdrops being adhered to the center part of the housing 1 in closed-end shape from falling and being adhered to the surface of the circuit part 2 and hence the circuit 2 from malfunctioning or failing.
