PURPOSE: To increase the durability as well as the reliability of an axial flow fan by a method wherein a stator core, a control circuit board, a coil and electronic parts, received into a casing, are molded and fixed integrally to prevent the adhesion of foreign substances to these parts.

CONSTITUTION: A stator core 13 and a control circuit board 3 are provided in the center of a casing 1 and a coil 14 is wound around the stator core 13 while the control circuit board 3 is provided with a Hall element 16 and other electric parts 17. A rotor 10 is arranged at the outside of the stator core 13 so as to be opposed and a plurality of vanes 8 is projected radially from the outer periphery of the rotor 10 while the control circuit board 3, the stator core 13, the coil 14, the Hall element 16 and the other electronic parts 17 are molded and fixed integrally by synthetic resin 18. Respective parts are molded integrally by the synthetic resin in such a manner and, therefore, the integrated component may be attached to the casing easily and the adhesion of foreign substances, such as dust and the like in the air flow, may be prevented surely whereby the durability as well as the reliability of the axial flow fan may be improved.
